Welcome to my Web page.

Biography

I was raised in Los Angeles, and attended college at Stanford University, graduating in biological sciences with a focus in neurobiology. I worked in academic labs performing research in developmental epilepsy, and then spent time in industrial research in San Diego, working with gene therapy to treat Parkinson's disease. I changed career paths, and attended medical school at Chicago Medical School, and completed my internal medicine residency at Brown University. I recently completed a fellowship in pulmonary/critical care medicine at UCLA.I thrive by staying connected to family, friends, and making sure to spend as much time as I can with the people who are important in my life.

About my practice

I am a pulmonary/critical care physician at Kaiser Los Angeles Medical Center. I began working with the Permanente Group in 2011, as a hospitalist, and joined the pulmonary practice in 2014, after completing my fellowship at UCLA. The pulmonary practice group at Kaiser Los Angeles Medical Center believes in promoting an environment of respect and collegiality where patient care is priority. I spend more than half of my practice time in the hospital, taking care of patients in the intensive care units and seeing pulmonary consultations. In the outpatient setting, my specific interest and expertise is advanced interstitial lung disease and pulmonary hypertension.
