About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I'm very excited about the development of our Kaiser Permanente physician Web pages. It will enable me to introduce myself to you and to tell you about my practice.

Biography

I was born in Hammond, Indiana, just outside of Chicago. However, I have spent most of my life here in Southern California and grew up in Fullerton. My undergraduate and medical school days were spent at UC Irvine. I enjoy my precious family time with my wife and son. My hobbies include working out at the gym, reading about American and world history, home remodeling projects, and baseball.

About my practice

A career in family medicine has afforded me the opportunity to develop wonderful, long-lasting relationships with members and their families. It is an honor and privilege to participate in the care of members spanning the entire spectrum from infancy to the end of life. My most meaningful career experiences are those that support and help people during their greatest times of need. I also love to teach and I am apart of the administrative faculty at our Kaiser Permanente Orange County Family Medicine Residency Program and am an assistant clinical professor of family medicine at UC Irvine. I also have numerous other administrative duties within Kaiser Permanente. Overall, I see members 50% of my week and have teaching and administrative tasks which take up the other 50% of my time.

How I thrive

I find that staying physically active helps me achieve a good mind/body balance. I love working out at the gym, hiking, traveling, and riding my mountain bike.
