About Me
I am a Southern girl at heart, born and raised in Tennessee. I originally came to the Northwest for Optometry school. After a couple years practicing in snowy Michigan, I decided to make my return to Salem, Oregon. I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Southern Adventist University in Tennessee, and my Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University in Oregon. I chose optometry because I loved seeing my Optometrist as a child. There is something magical about getting instantly sharper vision with the flip of a lens, and seeing the detail of the world around you come alive! I have a heart for mission work and enjoy taking trips to new places to help impoverished areas.
About my practice
The Optometry Department at Kaiser Permanente is dedicated to serving all your visual needs. I see a wide array of members of all ages and with varied visual concerns.
How I thrive
I love spending time with my husband and our young son. We enjoy hiking, movies, reading, playing music, being involved in our faith, going to local festivals and board games.
