About Me
Hello! I am really excited to join this amazing team of doctors, nurses, midwives, medical assistants, and staff.
Biography
I'm originally from New Jersey, and that's where my family still lives (with my brother nearby in New York City). All my education and training was done along the East Coast from Ithaca, New York, to Atlanta, Georgia. I worked for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for a bit, and that's where I decided that medicine would open a lot of interesting doors for me to take care of people individually. While I was studying to be an ob/gyn in Boston and then Philadelphia, I would stay sane by having a life outside of medicine doing sports, cooking, and traveling abroad when possible. I've been lucky to travel to places such as Costa Rica, Haiti, American Samoa, Ecuador, Kenya, and India.
About my practice
I'm loving the team we have here in the Ob/Gyn Department—everyone helps each other, gives advice, and genuinely wants the best for each member. I enjoy sitting and really listening to what each member has to say about what she’s going through because I believe we can figure out a lot by just listening and talking.
How I thrive
Exercise is the key to how I stay happy. I enjoy running, cycling, and swimming, and I think yoga is a great way to relax the mind and soul and avoid injuries. Eating healthy plays a big part of my life as well. It requires a bit more discipline, but I feel 100% better when my body feels healthy and full of energy.
