About Me
I grew up in Kennesaw, Ga. I obtained my undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia, my medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia, and finished my pediatric training at Emory University.
I always knew I wanted to be in medicine. As a teenager I volunteered at the local hospital. I then volunteered for numerous international medical mission trips in college and medical school. These experiences helped me gain perspective on the way we practice medicine in the United States and have helped shape me into the doctor I am today.
About my practice
Like most pediatricians, I am a strong believer in the importance of preventive medicine and healthy living. I enjoy working with kids and teens to define healthy goals and together map a plan for success. Medicine should not be "one size fits all," and I love working with our members to develop a care plan that is right for them.
How I thrive
I absolutely love to eat! In fact, my second dream job would be food critic, although I would probably be bad at it because I usually like everything. My family and I enjoy trying all the new restaurants that seem to constantly pop up in Atlanta and the metro area.
