About Me

I grew up in Alabama, attended the University of Chicago as an undergraduate, and later attended medical school at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Being able to have a direct positive impact on people's health drew me to medicine. I completed my internal medicine residency at Emory University.

About my practice

I am a general internist and practice as a hospitalist — seeing patients while they are in the hospital. I think of myself as being a partner with patients and their families during their hospital stay. I think it's important to empower people with the knowledge and tools they need to help achieve their health-care goals.

How I thrive

When not in the hospital, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking and enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
