About Me

I grew up in Roswell, Ga., and stayed in-state to attend the University of Georgia and then Medical College of Georgia. I ventured to New Hampshire for residency at Dartmouth, where I met my wife. We both love New England and get back as often as we can, but agreed we had to move south where the winters do not last as long! I have been with Kaiser Permanente since moving back home in 1994.

About my practice

Practicing dermatology at Kaiser Permanente has been very rewarding. It is a setting in which I feel I can provide high-quality care to our members. It is wonderful to be able to interact with so many different types of people of all ages during the course of my day. I strive to treat everyone the way I would want myself or my family to be treated. I consider it a privilege to participate in the health care of our members and I value the many relationships I have built with patients and families over the years, which in some cases is more than 16 years.

How I thrive

I thrive on time spent with my wife and our daughter, as well as with our extended family and friends. I try to appreciate every moment. Not one to sit around, I enjoy many outdoor activities (while wearing sunscreen, of course), good food, travel and old cars.
