About Me

Hello, and thank you for visiting my Web page. I am happy to introduce myself and tell you about my practice. I am proud to be a part of the Orthopaedic Surgery Department at South Bay Medical Center. Medicine is an ever-changing field and I take pride in practicing orthopaedic surgery, using up-to-date evidence and techniques to get people back to their daily routines and sports as quickly as possible.

Biography

I was born and raised near Columbus, Ohio, and the field of orthopaedic surgery appealed to me from a young age. I attended medical school at Georgetown University and graduated second in my class. I completed my orthopaedic surgery residency at the New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases, and came to Los Angeles for a fellowship in sports medicine at the renowned Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic.

About my practice

I specialize in sports medicine and orthopaedic surgery of the knee and shoulder, including tendon repairs, ligament reconstructions, cartilage restoration procedures, and arthroplasty. It is my goal to help members return to an active, healthy lifestyle lasting many years to come.

How I thrive

I live well by staying active with working out, playing basketball, and playing with my 2 children. I believe it is very important to have a balance between work and recreation. I enjoy spending time with my wife and family, attending sporting events, and traveling.
