About Me

I am glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself and my practice. It's important to feel comfortable with your physician, and I hope this page will help.

Biography

I moved to Southern California with my family at age 12, and have been here since. This is mostly because my family is here, but the weather is also hard to beat! I became interested in becoming a physician when I was in junior high. During my undergraduate years in college, I became sidetracked and worked as a research organic chemist for seven years, but still felt drawn to medicine. So, after a late start, I finished medical school and started training in family medicine at Kaiser Permanente, Riverside and have been here ever since. I am married, with three small children and pets. I like to run for exercise and I enjoy cooking.

About my practice

I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but I am also here to help you when you are sick. I want to be your partner in health, and it helps me better care for you when you are actively involved in taking care of your health.

How I thrive

I find that exercise helps reduce stress and keep me healthy. I like to run in the morning before work if I can, or to take a short walk at lunch if time allows. My faith also helps me to lead a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
