About Me
I grew up in the Detroit, MI area and received my undergraduate degree in pharmacy from Wayne State University in Detroit. The Wayne State University pharmacy college was great, and after a year of further graduate studies in pharmacy I decided to study medicine and attended medical school at the University of Michigan. After graduation from medical school, I completed a residency in dermatology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
About my practice
Dermatology covers a broad range of conditions, including those affecting children, teens, young and older adults; from rashes and growths to acne, some infections and skin cancer. My practice at Kaiser Permanente usually includes some of all of these conditions on a daily basis.
How I thrive
The Pacific Northwest is a great area to live and thrive. Coming from the Midwest, I am always impressed with the all-season recreational opportunities we have here, especially in the Portland and Vancouver areas. A walk in the Columbia Gorge, fishing on local lakes and rivers, an occasional backpacking excursion or a trip to the ocean are a few minutes to a few hours away at most. I hope I never tire of it (a quick trip home to Detroit sets me straight if I do).
