About Me

I started my healthcare career as a medical lab technologist, specializing in microbiology in Tucson, Arizona. This sparked my passion for medicine and eventually led me to study at Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. I came to Portland to train in the Providence Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency program. My family and I fell in love with the Northwest and have been here ever since.

About my practice

I choose to practice at Kaiser Permanente because of its team approach to health care. As an adult general internist and hospitialist, I see a variety of health problems. Because of our integrated system, I work with a large group of diverse colleagues, including specialist physicians, pharmacists, physical therapists, social workers, nurses, and others, to effectively serve my patients. I believe it takes a whole village to help patients foster good health.

How I thrive

My family is my stronghold. Most of my spare time is spent with my husband, daughter, and son attending their many sporting events and academic activities. We enjoy exercising as a family and frequent the gym for tennis, swimming, weightlifting, or Pilates. Our favorite family sports are skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer.
