About Me

Welcome to my Web page.

Biography

I was born in Los Angeles, and am of Chinese and Japanese descent. I chose to become a physician because of my interest in helping people with cancer.

About my practice

I'm a radiation oncologist, specializing in prostate radioactive seed implantation and soft tissue sarcoma. At the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, I participate in cancer clinics to improve cancer care. I chose to become a Kaiser Permanente physician because of its emphasis on good preventive care and treatments guided by current medical research.

How I thrive

To maintain my own wellness, I strive for life balance. I'm married and have three children. I exercise twice per week and eat a healthy diet—lots of fruits and vegetables, adequate protein, and very few packaged sweets. I also drive an electric car and use solar panels at home, to reduce smog in the air and the amount of pollution on our planet.
