About Me
Growing up, my family moved around quite a bit, but the majority of my youth was spent in Kentucky. I attended UC San Diego for my undergraduate degree and then traveled back to Kentucky for medical school at University of Louisville. I fell in love with Colorado's mountains and outdoors the first time I visited and am thrilled to be out here working for Kaiser Permanente.
About my practice
I chose family medicine to see the full spectrum of life. I enjoy caring for patients from childhood into adulthood. Through the course of my training I have come to recognize that focusing on preventive medicine can pay huge dividends later in life and so I try to encourage my patients to live healthy lifestyles. I have a particular interest in caring for LGBT patients and the unique health issues that arise for this population. I work with my patients to make treatment plans that meet their needs, as well as with our specialists, pharmacists and others to coordinate patients’ care.
How I thrive
I thrive by spending time outdoors. I love hiking, camping and skiing. I enjoy cooking, trying new foods, and spending time with friends and family.
