About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page! My name is Sam Assaf, and I am an emergency medicine physician at the Kaiser Permanente Panorama City Medical Center.

Biography

I was born and raised in Los Angeles and grew up as a Kaiser Permanente member. In college, I became a volunteer in an ER and pursued medical research, which inspired me to spend my life helping patients in the emergency department. I graduated from the Keck School of Medicine at USC and completed my emergency medicine residency training at UC Irvine. I have been working at the Panorama City Medical Center Emergency Department as an emergency medicine physician since 2017. I am also a clinical assistant professor for the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine.

About my practice

I deeply enjoy working with my colleagues here in Panorama City. Our team includes physicians, nurses, technicians, and staff who work hard, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to provide high-quality care for anyone who comes into our Emergency Department.

How I thrive

I love to be outdoors and enjoy playing soccer, snowboarding, weightlifting, practicing yoga, and walking my dog. I also greatly enjoy spending my free time with my family/friends and traveling around the world!
