About Me

Hello! I am a psychiatrist working at Kaiser Permanente at the Canyon Crest Mental Health Offices in Riverside.

Biography

I originally moved to Southern California to go to medical school, ended up staying for residency, and now have made my home here permanently. I am originally from Oregon, which is a very beautiful place that I would recommend visiting, especially in the summer. I enjoy photography and travel and have a soft spot for plants and animals.

About my practice

I believe in helping members improve their quality of life using whatever resources I have available. Mental illness can be very difficult, and I try to help out however I can with medications, therapies, and lifestyle changes. I also try to make a point of actively listening to what members have to say—after all, they know best what they are experiencing.

How I thrive

Spending time with friends and family is a very important part of my life and I try to make sure to take a little time each day to do something I enjoy. I also enjoy taking a nice bike ride or hiking on a sunny day.
