About Me

Welcome to Kaiser Permanente! I am pleased to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you, and to share information with you about my gastroenterology practice.

Biography

I was born in Taiwan, and grew up in the Big Apple, New York City. After completing my specialty training in UC Irvine Medical Center, I realized I had become acclimated to the sunny, warm weather of Southern California, and decided to live here. I am bilingual and fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin). I hope this helps members who cannot speak English well enough to receive the quality medical care they need without a language barrier.

About my practice

I believe that being physically active, a healthy living lifestyle, and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy. I want to work together with members as their partner in health; helping them when they are ill, offering them preventive services, including colonoscopy when indicated, and addressing their health needs and concerns.

How I thrive

I am very dedicated to my work, which at times can be a bit hectic. Nevertheless, keeping a balance in my life is equally important to me. Outside of work, my family life becomes a priority, and I try to set aside time regularly to share with my family, or simply to relax and unwind. I believe that if I have a happy and healthy family life, then I can help members like you to live well and thrive!
