About Me

I grew up in Vermont. I moved to Denver after college to be a literacy tutor for AmeriCorps for a year, and I fell in love with Colorado (I also have extended family here). I went back east for my medical training, but was excited to return to Colorado to practice. I do still enjoy the real maple syrup my parents make back in Vermont, however! I am honored to be recognized as a 5280 Magazine Top Doctor in 2022 and was also honored there in 2019 and 2020.

About my practice

I chose gynecologic oncology because it gives me the opportunity to get to know my patients and follow many of them long-term. It is also a good balance between time in the operating room and the office. I treat women with known pre-cancer or cancer, or concern for cancer, of the gynecologic organs (uterus, cervix, ovaries, vagina and vulva). My goal is to help my patients truly understand the problem for which they have been referred, and what the next steps are for treatment. I practice evidence-based medicine, and also involve patients in decision-making. I have a special interest in robotic/minimally invasive surgery.

How I thrive

I thrive by spending time with my family, exercising and eating healthy. I enjoy running, yoga, HIIT, skiing, biking and hiking. I also enjoy baking, and I recently started my first vegetable garden.
