About Me

After spending most of my life in the Northeastern United States, I moved to Portland, Oregon, in 2007. I feel lucky to have found a specialty line of work which encompasses critical care with compassion. In 2013, I received a Healthcare Management Masters in Business Adminstration degree from Portland State University and Oregon Health and Science University. The experience strengthened my belief in the importance of partnerships to support health care delivery.

About my practice

My approach to care is to reassure patients that they will be treated with respect and empathy. Having to undergo surgery or a procedure requiring anesthesia can be stressful and disruptive for patients. As a Kaiser Permanente physician, I appreciate working with a community of practitioners who share this approach to care.

How I thrive

You can often find me spending time with my family and taking advantage of the region's climate. We ski, hike the Columbia Gorge, and ride our bikes through the city-wide trails. We love taking weekend trips to the Oregon Coast or the Seattle area.
