About Me

I grew up in Denver, Colo., in a close family. I always wanted to go into medicine for as far back as I can remember. While working in a family practice as a teenager, I was exposed to the role of physician assistant and as I got older and realized I wanted to have a family, I felt this role was best for me as I could have more of a balance of work and family. I completed my undergraduate training at Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., in 1999 and then completed my physician assistant training at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 2006. My husband is from my home town and we now have two little girls that we spend our time with outside of work.

About my practice

In my practice I treat adults 18 years and older. I have a special interest in preventive health and keeping ourselves healthy for the future to age well. I enjoy working in a medical team setting where we partner together with doctors, nurses and support staff to best provide comprehensive care for patients.

How I thrive

I thrive by spending time with my family. We have a large extended family in the area and spend most of our free time with them. I enjoy reading, walking for exercise and gardening when I have a moment to spare from caring for my young children.
