About Me
Hello, and welcome to my Web page! I joined the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center team in September 2016. I am the third physician in our perinatal (high-risk obstetric) team and am fortunate to work in such a cohesive environment including our nursing staff, fetal testing nurses, genetics team, and multiple subspecialties.
Biography
I grew up in Northern California in the Sierra foothills. Upon completion of high school, I relocated to San Diego where I earned my B.S. at UC San Diego. I spent 11 years in New York City for my medical training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine then Mount Sinai St Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital. I finally returned to California in September of 2016 and pleased to be apart of the Kaiser Permanente team. When I am not busy caring for many high-risk patients, I enjoy spending time with my family (husband, daughter, cat, and extended family). I love traveling and engulfing myself in various cultures when I have the opportunity to travel. I am always interested in sampling a variety of cuisines and exploring what Los Angeles has to offer.
About my practice
Our team would not function without our back office staff and multiple subspecialties! I am one of three Perinatologists at the Los Angeles Medical Center. Not only do we work closely with our general Ob/Gyn providers, but we work closely with genetics, social work, and adult and pediatric subspecialists, in order to provide comprehensive quality care to our patients. We believe that it takes a team to provide optimal and thorough care to our patients.
How I thrive
I thrive by balancing my work life with my personal life. I find fulfillment in spending time with my family, and finding time to exercise not only my body but also my brain. Spending time with family and friends fills my heart with joy and keeps me strong and optimistic.
