About Me

I was born and raised in Hawaii. I received my medical degree from the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine and completed my anesthesiology training at the University of Illinois. My wife is a nurse, and we have one daughter.

About my practice

My interest in the sciences and in helping others made a medical career a good fit for me. I particularly enjoy the technical aspects of my anesthesiology practice. I am chief of the Anesthesiology Department at the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group. I enjoy working with my outstanding colleagues to provide the best and most efficient care possible for our members.

How I thrive

Outside of work, I like to golf, run, read, and do volunteer work overseas.
