About Me

Welcome to my Web page. It’s a pleasure to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and members, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health.

Biography

I was born in Taiwan and immigrated to the United States as a teenager. I went to high school in Minnesota then moved to Southern California to attend college at UCLA. My first encounter with Kaiser Permanente was during my weekly city bus commute down Sunset Boulevard, where I would pass the large medical complex. Little did I know I would be working at Kaiser Permanente one day. I’m married and have two wonderful children. I enjoy travel and making travel videos. Periodically, I participate in medical mission trips overseas.

About my practice

Your eyes and vision are affected by your general health. Many systemic diseases cause ocular complications. I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but I’m also here to help you when you are sick. I want to be your partner in health, and it helps me better care for you when you are actively involved in taking care of your health.

How I thrive

Good family life is important to staying healthy, both physically and mentally. I enjoy family vacations and weekend outings to the parks and beaches. I also recharge spiritually through quiet meditation in the evenings.
