About Me

I am originally from Chicago where I was born and raised and where I attended Rush Medical College. My husband persuaded me to follow him to Portland for the rest of my training, and so I came here for my internal medicine and nephrology training. Eventually, I decided I could never leave! I was in private practice in the Vancouver, Washington, area for three years before joining NW Permanente. My husband also practices medicine in Portland. We have one son together and enjoy hiking, skiing, tennis, swimming, movies, traveling, and family time.

About my practice

I believe in a multidisciplinary approach to practicing medicine, which is essential in providing excellent nephrology care. I treat patients with chronic kidney disease, acute kidney failure, end-stage kidney failure on dialysis, hypertension, and kidney transplant.

How I thrive

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Physical exertion is a good way for me to unwind, whether it’s hiking, jogging, kicking a soccer ball around with my son, or skiing with my family. I play the piano. Finally, I love to read fiction in my spare time and am always looking for new book suggestions.
