Hello, and welcome to my Web page. My name is Emanuela Christati, and I am an Ob/Gyn.
I was born in the Balkans, one of seven children. After high school, I lived in Germany for a year and then emigrated to the U.S. with my family. I completed college and medical school at UC San Diego, and my residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center. I’ve had a love science ever since I first learned about the cell and organelles in middle school. I found interacting with people one-on-one and helping to relieve their suffering to be both meaningful and rewarding. So medicine seemed an obvious choice for profession, even though I got to experience a variety of other jobs on the way to becoming a physician.
I believe in putting my hands, head, and heart into my work. Health applies to more than just our bodies and involves our mind, soul, spirit, family, and community. The mission of my Loma Linda University School of Medicine is "to make man whole," and I agree with that concept wholeheartedly. My hope as a physician is to serve my patients on their journey to finding and restoring wholeness.
Basking in sunsets at the ocean, hiking, singing in church, reading, traveling, spending quality time with the people I love.
