About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to share some information about my training, credentials, and practice of cardiology with you.

Biography

I was interested in cardiology long before my own father developed heart disease. By witnessing the care of his heart condition, I developed a better understanding of patients' needs. My family, which includes three children, is also a strong focus for my life. I enjoy hikes in the local mountains, gardening, and bicycling.

About my practice

I strive to conduct a thorough, current, and comprehensive practice. I practice consultative and invasive cardiology. In this setting, I have enjoyed directing Kaiser Permanente's Quality Assurance Program in my field of specialty. I am also active as an interventional cardiologist in a high-volume cardiac catheterization laboratory. I am board certified in cardiology and interventional cardiology.

How I thrive

I try to live by the same healthy living practices I recommend to my patients. I maintain a low-fat diet and enjoy regular exercise. I plan to continue to compete in local triathlon races to stay active. My hobbies are gardening and painting. I find great relaxation in taking care of my rose garden.
