About Me
Hello there. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share a little information about myself. I am very pleased to have recently joined the Kaiser Permanente family, and my intention is to provide compassionate care to all members.
Biography
I have been living in Los Angeles for 20 years now. I received my undergraduate training at USC in biology, with a minor in music. I then went on to complete my master’s in public health at UCLA. I moved to New York for medical school and then returned back to LA to continue my medical training. I finished my residency in internal medicine at LAC+USC Medical Center and my fellowship training in hematology/oncology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
About my practice
The priority in my practice is to take care of members with a balanced approach. I not only focus my attention on treating the disease or illness but also emphasize the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of the individual. I believe that many diseases originate from an imbalance of these important aspects.
How I thrive
Maintaining a balance in my own physical, mental, and emotional well-being is critically important in how I provide care to members. I practice yoga and meditation on a daily basis, and I enjoy cycling routinely. I am very much connected to the earth and find tremendous joy in gardening, as well.
