About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I look forward to meeting you and your child and helping you in the daunting process of being a parent and giving your child a healthy start.

Biography

I am a native of Southern California and have lived most of my life in this area. I have enjoyed a wonderful career taking care of infants and young children here at Kaiser Permanente for more than 20 years. It has given me enormous pleasure and sense of purpose to meet and help families in every circumstance.

About my practice

I work primarily in the special care nursery at the San Diego Medical Center/Kaiser Foundation Hospital where my practice involves taking care of sick premature and newborn infants. My colleagues and I work as a team to provide continuous and well-coordinated care. We believe four heads are better than one when it comes to addressing difficult medical problems. I also see our nursery graduates in the special care nursery follow-up clinic where we evaluate our infants for any long-term sequel associated with their difficult starts. Seeing our babies grow and flourish is probably the most rewarding experience I have in my work.

How I thrive

I enjoy many hobbies, but most important to me is watching my own children grow into productive, interesting adults. I enjoy playing the violin, quilting and gardening. A variety of activities is my own best medicine for thriving.
