About Me

I come from a family of physicians. I was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and subsequently educated at Reed College in Portland, Oregon and also at the University of Munich, in Germany. After receiving a master’s degree in Orchestral Conducting, I was active as a professional orchestral conductor for several years, both in the United States and in Europe. I then attended medical school at the University of Washington in Seattle. After finishing medical school I completed a surgical internship followed by a four-year residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of California, Davis. This was followed by additional specialized fellowship training in Interventional Radiology at the Dotter Institute at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland.

About my practice

My practice consists of both diagnostic radiology (interpretation of imaging studies) and interventional radiology (performing minimally-invasive procedures using image guidance).

How I thrive

I thrive by keeping a fresh outlook and a sense of wonder and curiosity about life and the world around me.  In my spare time I love to travel the world, ski, bike, listen to and play music (I am a pianist), look at art, read, and fly-fish.
