About Me

I am glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It is very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.

Biography

I am a Southern California native, born and raised in San Diego. I decided that I wanted to go away for college and so I moved all the way to Northern California and obtained my undergraduate degree in biology at the UC Berkeley. I moved back to Southern California after college, attending medical school and general surgery residency at the UC Irvine. I'm happy to be in Southern California and to be able to serve the members of my community.

About my practice

Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what patients need. Being a doctor is a profession that allows me to protect and improve what people value most: their health. I feel very honored that patients have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family.

How I thrive

I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of total health, and I try to live it in my life every day. When I am at work, I am working, but when I am off, I like to enjoy myself. Aside from spending quality time with friends and family, I like to enjoy the outdoors. I enjoy hiking, going to the beach, and playing sports. On my vacations, I love to travel abroad to meet new people, experience different cultures, taste exotic cuisines, and see amazing sights.
