About Me
Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself and tell you about my practice. I am a subspecialist in hand and upper extremity surgery. It is an honor to work here with such a superb group of surgeons and personal physicians. I look forward to working with you to care for your health.
Biography
I grew up in Peoria, Illinois, and attended the University of Illinois, where I received a bachelor's degree in chemistry. I attended medical school at Loyola University Chicago and completed my orthopedic surgery residency at Harvard University in Boston. I completed a fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at UCLA. I decided to stay in Southern California to practice. My wife, six children, and I are thoroughly enjoying Orange County and the many opportunities for a healthy lifestyle.
About my practice
I enjoy treating patients of all ages and providing care for the full spectrum of upper extremity disorders, but I have a specific interest in the management of wrist and elbow trauma. I am fortunate to work with an excellent team of surgeons. We are all active in research as well as the teaching of residents and fellows. My goals is to apply the knowledge that we gain from this research to the care of our members.
How I thrive
My family life is my major priority. I enjoy family outings to the beach and the mountains. I attempt to ski whenever possible. I attend spin class three days a week to stay in shape. Most of all, I like to spend time with my wife and children.
