About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page.

Biography

I was born in Pittsburgh. I graduated from Cornell University with a degree in environmental science. After leaving college, I spent two years in Ecuador as a Peace Corps volunteer, followed by four years working with a farmworker health program on the East Coast. I attended the University of Buffalo School of Medicine in upstate New York, and I completed a residency in family practice at UC San Diego. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, I worked for four years in a community medicine clinic in El Cajon, California. I have been married for eight years, and my wife and I have a daughter and son.

About my practice

My goal as a physician is to provide high-quality, comprehensive, compassionate care to all my patients. I enjoy taking care of people of all ages and backgrounds. I speak Spanish as well.

How I thrive

At work, I enjoy talking to people and staying up on developments and advances in health care. At home, I like reading, hiking, exercising, going to the beach, and, above all, being with my family.
