Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I am very happy to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you. As a member of the Addiction Medicine Department at Kaiser Permanente , I look forward to serving you.
Trained in primary care, I decided to seek certification in addiction medicine in part to meet a need in my community. I have found the study and practice of addiction medicine to be particularly interesting and rewarding. After practicing addiction medicine in both inpatient and outpatient settings in Texas, I was delighted to join the team at Kaiser Permanente. Apart from my practice here, I also provide primary care services at a community-based clinic on a voluntary basis.
Our addiction medicine team includes specifically trained physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, therapists, and other support staff. It is very satisfying to serve with a group of highly dedicated and well-trained professionals. Through several years of working together, I feel that our department has come to be an especially well-coordinated and mutually supportive team.
I appreciate and support our organization's emphasis on its health professionals having a well-rounded personal life. Apart from my professional responsibilities, I enjoy spending time with my family and try to keep up a schedule of regular physical exercise. I also enjoy traveling and outdoor activities.
