About Me
Hello and welcome to my Web page! My name is Justin, and as your physician, my goal is to keep you as healthy as possible using the knowledge and training I have acquired over many years. Below is a little information about myself so you can get to know me. I look forward to getting to know you!
Biography
I have always been a West Coast guy. I grew up in Northern California where I completed my B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering, before I decided medicine was my true calling. I completed medical school in San Francisco; I then moved to San Diego for my residency training in radiology. I briefly left California for specialty fellowship training in interventional radiology in Seattle. Seattle was great, but I didn't take long before I missed the sunshine and decided to come back and settle down in San Diego.
About my practice
I am part of the Department of Radiology, and part of a subset of physicians who specialize in interventional radiology. We perform minimally invasive, image-guided procedures on a wide variety of diseases including diagnosis and treatment of cancers, repair of arteries and veins all throughout the body, removal of infections, and stopping life-threatening internal bleeding, to name a few. My goal is to utilize my skills to the best of my ability to keep you safe and healthy. I work closely with many of the other physicians that will be taking care of you, and together as a team we try to give you the best healthcare possible.
How I thrive
I love food, and unfortunately I may love it a little too much. So to balance that, I try to exercise at my local gym, or burn calories chasing my little daughter around the house. When I'm not working, I'm spending time with my family enjoying the wonderful weather and activities in San Diego.
