About Me

Thank you for visiting, and welcome to my Web page. I am excited to be a part of the Kaiser Permanente family and look forward to meeting you in person.

Biography

I grew up in Michigan, and as I had always been a lifelong fan of the Michigan Wolverines, naturally I attended the University of Michigan for both college and medical school. Go, Blue! My medical training then continued in Boston, where I completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program. During my time there, I also obtained an executive certificate in management and leadership at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management. I then had the wonderful opportunity to complete an Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Osteosynthesefragen trauma fellowship at Leeds Teaching Hospital in the United Kingdom, followed by a fellowship in adult hip and knee reconstruction at the OrthoCarolina Hip and Knee Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

About my practice

My specialty is in adult hip and knee reconstruction and joint replacement. I am passionate about helping others improve their quality of life through the improvement of their hip and knee function. I like to remain as active as possible myself and, as such, understand the importance of treating arthritis that can certainly slow people down. There is nothing more rewarding than being able to help others return to doing the things they love.

How I thrive

I am an avid health and fitness enthusiast and also enjoy football, tennis, golf, and spending time with my family and friends. It is certainly a refreshing change to have great year-round weather to do all this in Southern California!
