About Me

I am originally from Minnesota and spent several years in Costa Rica. I moved to Colorado to complete my neurology residency after medical school in Chicago. I have three adult children.

About my practice

I chose neurology because I find the disorders of the brain and nervous system fascinating. I am especially interested in movement disorders. I take the time to get to know my patients and I listen to understand your questions and concerns. Electronic medical records help me to see the big picture of your health, so I can make good use of our time together and answer your questions. Although I find the internet a helpful educational tool once a diagnosis is made, I do not believe it is a diagnostic tool. I trust other Kaiser Permanente providers to take excellent care of my patients if I’m not available. My practice is focused on adult patients.

How I thrive

I try to balance my work life with yoga, hiking, reading and playing with my dogs.
