About Me

I was born and raised in Korea, but I moved to the United States to attend college and medical school. I completed my internal medicine residency in New York, followed by my rheumatology fellowship in Missouri.

About my practice

My specialty is rheumatology, which includes diagnoses of autoimmune diseases and musculoskeletal disorders. Communication with our members is very important and significant to me; therefore, I enjoy listening to my patients to build a rapport with them on an individual basis. I believe it is important to spend as much time with my patients as I possibly can, especially our members with chronic needs.

How I thrive

For a clearer overview of my passion for rheumatology, I believe having a balanced work and home life is very important as one can influence the outcome of the other. I travel, exercise and relax so that I may prepare for what is to come. The key is always having a positive attitude, which is important for me and for the care of my patients.
