Biography

I grew up right here in Southern California enjoying the wonderful weather and diversity of activities available to us. I went to medical school in Philadelphia, which gave me some perspective about other areas of the country. I was very happy to return to Southern California for my residency in orthopaedic surgery and am extremely pleased to be working at Kaiser Permanente.

About my practice

My practice in orthopaedic surgery includes joint replacement, arthroscopy and trauma. My special interest is joint replacement surgery involving the hip and knee. We have a great team here that guide our patients from the preoperative process to postoperative rehabilitation. This makes my job as a surgeon easier and makes practicing orthopaedic surgery here extremely rewarding. There is nothing more satisfying to me than having a patient return walking pain-free after years of discomfort.

How I thrive

I enjoy tennis and skiing. I exercise regularly - which is important for keeping my mind and body healthy. My favorite activity is traveling. I have traveled throughout the world and hope to see many more places in the future.
