About Me

Welcome to my Web profile! It is truly a pleasure to be a Transplant Hepatologist at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. I am glad to have this opportunity to share some information about my background and my practice.

Biography

I chose to become a physician because medicine offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. I grew up in the Midwest and attended medical school in Pennsylvania. I then moved to sunny Los Angeles in 2000.

About my practice

I care for patients with acute and chronic liver disease. Specific conditions include viral hepatitis, drug-induced liver injury, autoimmune and metabolic liver diseases, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. I also assist with liver transplant evaluations and post-liver transplant management.

How I thrive

I thrive by spending time with my family and friends. My family and I especially love to travel anywhere and everywhere! I also enjoy long distance running, swimming and skiing.
