About Me
I discovered my passion for reconstructive plastic surgery during medical school, drawn to its unique blend of artistic precision and surgical creativity. After completing my residency in Seattle, I embarked on an international fellowship in Scotland, gaining invaluable perspectives both professionally and personally. Now, I am proud to call the Pacific Northwest home and to serve the diverse members of Kaiser Permanente.
About my practice
I specialize in a wide range of reconstructive procedures and am deeply committed to personalized, patient-centered care. I work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, tailoring treatment plans to align with each patient's unique needs and goals. I have fellowship training in reconstructive microsurgery, and my practice includes breast reconstruction (implants, "flaps", and fat grafting), breast reduction, chest surgery, head & face reconstruction, and reconstruction of complex wounds.
How I thrive
Outside of surgery, I am an avid violinist, having performed with ensembles such as the Seattle Rock Orchestra and the Scottish Sinfonia, and I continue to take the stage with local community orchestras here in Oregon. I also enjoy hiking, skiing, mountain biking, and cooking — ask me about my journey toward a vegan lifestyle ! I enjoy traveling with my partner, both locally and internationally, exploring rural landscapes and vibrant urban cultures alike. Together we embrace a philosophy of healthy, mindful living for ourselves, our community, and our planet.
