About Me
I grew up in Cheyenne, WY, and earned my undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of Wyoming. I attended Creighton Medical School in Omaha, NE, and subsequently completed a one-year Ob/Gyn internship in Detroit, MI, followed by completion of my Ob/Gyn residency training at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO. I met my wife, Holly, in junior high school and we married just before I started medical school. Holly and I have two beautiful children, Ally and Brandt, who are active in cheerleading and competitive soccer.
About my practice
I strive for an evidence-based approach to health care. I take pride in really listening to my patients, and openly and thoroughly discussing treatment options. I encourage my patients to personally take control of their care and to ask questions about their care. I practice the full range of general Ob/Gyn with a minimally invasive, advanced laparoscopic surgery specialty including laparoscopic hysterectomy and advanced pelvic disease.
How I thrive
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling with my wife and kids, and watching Ally compete in cheerleading competitions and Brandt compete in soccer. Personally, I enjoy many forms of exercise including weight training, tennis, and skiing. I embrace a healthy lifestyle in caring for patients and within my personal life.
