About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am very happy to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you and tell you more about me and my practice as an adult psychiatrist. I feel extremely honored to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and our members. It is my mission to provide you with high-quality of care in a respectful and professional environment.

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where I completed my undergraduate studies. Then I moved to the Dominican Republic for five years to study medicine. Once I finished my medical education, I knew right away that psychiatry was the field that I wanted to practice. Luckily I had the opportunity to move to New York City, where I was able to accomplish my dream. After all these years I realized that there is no place like the sunny southern coast of California, so as soon as I graduated from residency, I decided to move to San Diego, where my home is now. I frequently visit my family and friends.

About my practice

I feel that healthy living is one of the most important things in life. Having good medical care is essential to being physically and mentally healthy. Sometimes this can be challenging due to internal and external factors of our lives. I want to be your partner in health, and work with you to achieve good mental health.

How I thrive

I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente’s philosophy and I try to live my life surrounded by positive and healthy options. My family and friends are my major priority. I enjoy the outdoors, sports, culinary cuisine, art, and traveling.
