About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am a family medicine physician in practice since 2007.

Biography

I immigrated to this country from South Korea when I was young and grew up in Orange County. I picked up Spanish along the way. I attended local schools, went to UCLA for my Bachelor of Science, and then obtained my Doctor of Chiropractic degree in Whittier, CA, at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (now Southern California University Health Sciences). I went to Ross Medical School and completed my residency in family medicine at Loma Linda University. I started moonlighting during my residency at nearby urgent care centers. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, I was a Medical Director supervising urgent care centers for a large medical group. I have been involved in leadership positions most of my life. I do this by serving first and doing the work it takes. I found a renewed passion for primary care medicine and preventing illnesses after seeing what can happen to untreated medical diseases.

About my practice

It is always exciting to meet new faces and find best solutions for medical conditions. When I treat members, I strive to make a positive difference in their health and encourage a healthy lifestyle. My advice to members is to not let little things become big things. Don't wait to see a doctor.

How I thrive

I like to spend time with my family and serve at church during my free time. While at work, I find personal satisfaction in taking care of members and working towards good outcomes.
