About Me
I was born and raised in New York City. I moved to Boston to complete my internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, which I followed with cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowships at Beth Israel Medical Center. It was during this training that I met my husband, who is also a physician and a native southerner. We have two children and together and we try to enjoy all that Atlanta has to offer.
About my practice
I am board certified in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. In my specialty of electrophysiology, I perform procedures such as implanting pacemakers and defibrillators. In addition, I manage all types of simple and complex cardiac arrhythmias (heart rhythm disorders) including with catheter-based ablation. I am also a fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society.
How I thrive
I am an avid distance/endurance runner and frequently run races, including marathons. I find a long run invigorating and a great adjunct to a long day or week. I also enjoy watching all sports, especially professional football. As my children have grown, we enjoy traveling more often and experiencing the world together.
