About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page! My name is Dr. Terence Chan.

Biography

I was originally born in Hong Kong but immigrated to the United States along with my family when I was four years old. I speak Cantonese as well as English. I grew up in the Southern California area, and I went to Loyola High School in downtown Los Angeles. After high school, I attended UC Riverside, where I majored in biochemistry and minored in religious studies. From there, I attended American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, and completed my residency at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield. I wanted to become a physician since I was seven years old. When I was young, I was sick often and I noticed that doctors made me feel better. Now that my dream to become a doctor has come true, I want to help and give back to the community.
