About Me

I am an Atlanta native. Having grown up in Atlanta, I appreciate all that Atlanta has to offer: the diversity, history and amazing warm weather. I chose to go into nursing and was driven to pursue my master's degree to become a nurse practitioner. My career started in the NICU and then spread throughout pediatrics in general. I love interacting with children of all ages and helping families strive to be the healthiest they can be.

About my practice

My personal beliefs align with Kaiser Permanente. I believe in the health of the mind, body and spirit. Efforts in all three categories are equally important, as well as intertwined and applicable in any stage of life. My experience as a nurse practitioner began in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), which provided a great foundation in pediatric health and development. From there it has expanded to all ages in pediatrics. Each age and stage are enjoyable for different reasons, and I enjoy children of all ages.

How I thrive

I love being active! Active physically with running, tennis, and traveling; active emotionally as a wife and mother of two amazing children; active spiritually by being open to new things and community involvement.
