About Me

Welcome and thank you for visiting my Web page. I have been with Kaiser Permanente at the Panorama City Medical Center since 1976. My practice is office-based Ob/Gyn. I initiated our department's quality assurance program in the 1980s and have been our department's education chairman for over 25 years.

Biography

I grew up in New York City, but I’ve lived in Southern California since 1976, so I definitely consider this my home now.

About my practice

Our practice here in Panorama City is team-based. My nurse and I work together to take care of you and to ensure your well-being. Other members of our team include nurses who can answer your questions in my absence, a dedicated Pap test staff to call if a problem arises, and a dedicated reception staff to meet your scheduling needs. We want you to feel comfortable in a secure, confidential, and professional environment. I personally consider my job 10 percent examination and 90 percent education and will try to make your experience informative by anticipating and answering your questions during our visit.

How I thrive

I firmly believe there is more to health than doctor visits and taking medicine. Taking a few minutes for yourself every day can be rejuvenating! This time can include alone time, resting, meditation, reading, listening to music, or doing some other activity that you enjoy. This, balanced with spending time with family and/or friends, is important for mental well-being. Physical activity is important as well and going to a health club, swimming, taking a walk, or doing isometric exercises in a chair or in bed can help as a part of your health care program.
