About Me

Thank you for visiting my Web page. It is my pleasure to serve you and address your medical needs. I practice hematology and oncology full time in the Kaiser Permanente San Canyon Medical Offices and am pleased to be part of the Kaiser Permanente family.

I was born in Cairo, Egypt, after achieving a superior and national rank in high school. I joined one of the oldest and most prestigious medical schools in Egypt. I joined my family here in the US and started my residency in New York city. Exposed to one of the strongest programs in medicine, I gained marked experience and medical common sense that still helps me reach medical decisions and diagnoses. I joined the hematology/oncology fellowship program at Stony Brook University Hospital in Long Island, New York. After finishing the fellowship, I worked as a faculty supervisor and teaching attendant in the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York for two years. After 12 years in New York, I decided to join my family here in California and joined Kaiser Permanente in 2002.

About my practice

I practice hematology and oncology based on scientific evidence. I am triple board certified in medicine, hematology and oncology. I practice full time in my specialty and enjoy the challenge of it. My goal is to help my patient understand the most about their disease and help them gain more knowledge by seeking other resources and information.

How I thrive

I thrive by spending time with my family in travel and sports. I enjoy reading, travel and photography.
