About Me

I attended medical school at the University of Connecticut and completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Washington. I am board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and in sports medicine. I completed specialized fellowship training in spinal interventions and in sports medicine. I moved to Colorado specifically to work for Kaiser Permanente. My values closely align with Kaiser Permanente's mission of providing high-quality, affordable health care with a foundation in evidence-based medicine. I am honored to be recognized as a 5280 Magazine Top Doctor in 2022 and was also honored there in 2019.

About my practice

As a non-surgical spine and musculoskeletal specialist, I use a multidisciplinary approach. My treatment plans incorporate therapeutic exercise, complementary and alternative medicine, medications, injections, and other interventional procedures to maximize and restore function. I aim to give each patient my best attention and effort, so I’ll work with you to make a treatment plan that meets your individual needs. Typically my patients receive a referral from their primary care provider to have a consultation with me, and interventional procedures require a consultation first. I work closely with the rest of your care team, including your primary care provider, other specialists and pharmacists, to coordinate your care.

How I thrive

I enjoy the active Colorado lifestyle and a variety of athletic endeavors.
