About Me

Welcome to my Web page! I’m proud to be a physician here at Kaiser Permanente. I know it’s important to get to know your primary care physician, and I hope that this Web page will help introduce you to who I am.

Biography

I was born and raised here in Orange County and realized I wanted to be a physician at a fairly early age. I was influenced somewhat by the wonderful experience I’d had with my own family physician. While I was still in high school, I actually did some volunteer work as an aide in the Kaiser Permanente Emergency Department in Anaheim! These and a number of other experiences eventually led me to choose a very fulfilling career in family medicine.

About my practice

I strongly believe in the importance of preventive health care as being the means to not just a long life but one lived with meaningful quality. It’s so true how an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! I enjoy practicing the art of medicine, encompassing both the challenges and the routine that I see day after day. However, the one thing I value most about medicine is the relationship I develop with my members. Often I learn just as much from listening to them as they do from me.

How I thrive

Maintaining a balanced life is important to me for staying well. What I treasure most is spending time with my family. Some of the things that I like to do during my downtime include traveling, going to the movies, and fishing. I also enjoy serving at my church and spending time with friends.
