About Me

Hello! Welcome, and thank you for your interest in getting to know a little more about me. I look forward to meeting you in person and partnering with you to care for your health.

Biography

I was born and raised in Southern California. I attended medical school at UCLA and completed my surgery training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, a busy county hospital in Torrance. From there, I was a fellow in advanced minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. After I completed this fellowship, I immediately joined Kaiser Permanente.

About my practice

I am very excited to have been a driving force behind Kaiser Permanente's first bariatric surgery center in the Inland Empire. Over these rewarding years, we have shaped our weight loss surgery program into one that is both safe and effective. Our goal is to ensure our members are well prepared for surgery, make it through surgery safely, and are rewarded for their efforts with lifelong success.

How I thrive

When I have free time, I enjoy golf, walking, cross training, and weight training. My wife and I welcomed our first child recently, a handsome baby boy! My wife and I have a loving two-year-old, 130-pound St. Bernard dog who we keep busy with walks and obedience exercises.
